I am a dabbler! I love to do this and then I love to do that. This led me to think of myself in terms of “Jack of all trades, Master of None!” which is not very flattering.
My journey has included a owning, riding and giving up a motorcycle, a job preparing taxes, a stint as a business owner, daycare and stay at home mom, Crochet enthusiast, high school dropout, high school graduate, college student, singer (many years ago), Dr. Wannabe, full time RVer, Spiritual Student of New Ideas, and many other hats, some that fit well and others that were very uncomfortable.
Recently it was determined that this is not a BAD thing. There are a number of skills that have been checked off of my To Do list in this life. I have enjoyed many of them. It would be dishonest to say I have enjoyed all of them. For example, I love being a Mom but not so much the Stay at Home or Daycare kind. If I had never tried, I would not know this about myself. A friend of mine who was the Daycare Mom to my daughters for years said, “Your children are better off with a happy working Mom than a full time unhappy Mom”. WOW! Permission granted. Thanks Patti!
My goal today is to NOT judge myself because I am not an accomplished successful (Fill in the blank) but to be grateful for the opportunities life has afforded me and the lessons learned.
